OBJECTIVE:
When VeriSign decided to launch a new conference for RFID developers, they turned to Coda Creative. The identity had to be created from scratch, but integrate well with VeriSign’s already established brand. The design needed to be fresh and appealing but also timeless enough to reuse in future years. The budget was limited, but the look had to be very polished.
STRATEGY:
Coda Creative developed a new logo for the event and a number of a number of pieces that were cost effective without sacrificing quality. Most signage was designed with low ink coverage to enable consistent, low-cost reproduction. We printed attendee badges on pre-scored templates and created a Word document for the client to print and update in-house. To promote corporate continuity, VeriSign’s signature burgundy was selected as one of the main palette choices; but to add a new twist, a goldenrod color was added for vibrancy and a blue was employed to be in keeping with a corporate feel.
RESULTS:
A clean, contemporary and high-impact look achieved on a tight budget. Coda Creative’s expertise in event graphic design ensured that VeriSign’s marketing pieces and on-site attendee materials were kept within budget through the use of innovative and low-cost print options. More importantly, the look and feel of the pieces supported VeriSign’s established reputation of quality, while having their own unique identity.
